Camphill Aberdeen City and Shire

Volunteer

...for a Camphill community

Camphill communities are voluntary organisations working with people with special needs.  We are actively supported by volunteers from all walks of life and all corners of the globe regardless of religious or racial background. garden

Every year volunteers join our communities to share and experience our life and work. Many of those who volunteer at Camphill communities are doing a gap year including Zivildienst im Ausland or Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr. The majority of those who volunteer enjoy the  learning, cultural and work opportunities offered by the Camphill centre in which they stay. In the city and shire we there are six vibrant communities each offering a unique way of life; from school, through training and on to adult life and retirement. From campus/village community through urban living to country life, Camphill in the North East of Scotland has something to suit everyone.

Help to make a real difference - it could change your life and ours.

If you have experienced life in a Camphill community and would like to share your experiences with others we would love to hear from you. We rely on word of mouth, so if you have enjoyed your time in a Camphill community why not pass it on and tell your friends.

To share your experience of Camphill life send an email to info@camphillaberdeen.org.uk with the subject line "share".

How to volunteer:

Previous experience is not required, but a willingness to take part in the daily life of the community and an enthusiasm to learn is essential.

Simply  send an email with the subject line "volunteer" and the name of the community that you would like to volunteer for to "info@camphillaberdeen.org.uk".
