Care Commission inspection highlights quality of care provision at Tigh a'Chomainn
On the 31st of July the Care Commission undertook their annual announced inspection of Tigh a'Chomainn. Once again Tigh a'Chomainn received a very positive assessment and feedback of the work undertaken by the community. A full report will be available from the Care Commision later in the year. Co-worker graduates from BACE, receives RMA, just in time to give birth
Margaret Swerling, part of the senior co-worker team at TIgh a'Chomainn, received her Batchelor of Arts in Curative Education (the BACE - provided jointly between Aberdeen University and the Camphill School Aberdeen), her Registered Managers Award (RMA) and gave birth to a healthy baby girl all in the same month.
The delighted mum has now completed all her training requirements to register as the new manager for Tigh a'Chomainn. The SSSC are currently processing her application.
Residents and co-workers at Tigh a'Chomainn are delighted at Margaret's achievements.
